At Aristo Dental, Dr’s Giovanni and Sandra Aristodemo and our team strive to educate our guests on the intrinsic value of a healthy mouth.  Through clear communication, education, motivation and excellent care, we share the responsibility along with our valued guests in having them experience the benefits of a healthy mouth.  A healthy mouth supports one’s overall health and well being thereby allowing them to live a life free of disease and infection.  But then you must ask – “What is a healthy mouth?”

We believe that the characteristics of a healthy mouth are:

  • Pink, firm gums
  • Pink tongue
  • Gum pocket depths of 3 mm or less
  • Absence of bleeding
  • No gum recession
  • Absence of plaque, tartar and calculus
  • Stain free
  • Decay free
  • Sensitivity free
  • Absence of failing fillings
  • Absence of fractured, chipped or worn down teeth
  • Teeth in proper alignment with no crowding, spaces or missing teeth
  • Proper occlusion (bite)
  • Adequate saliva
  • Oral cancer free
  • Smoke free
  • Fresh breath
  • Straight, white teeth
